The brief: interesting, not exhausting.

A city break should leave you with stories, not a performance review. Choose the cultural moments you actually care about, then build around them. If the museum means more to your saved folder than it does to you, we can have that conversation.

One strong anchor beats a day of obligation.

Our preferred approach is to start with a meaningful anchor: a visit, an experience, or a reservation you are excited about. Then consider what makes sense around it. Leave enough time to get there, linger, and change the plan without the whole day collapsing.

Give your accommodation a job description.

“Beautiful” is a start. So is “I want to walk out for coffee” or “I need somewhere quiet after a busy day.” Talk through the practical brief before choosing the backdrop. The prettiest room in your saved folder is not automatically the right base for your trip.

Leave room for the unplanned version of you.

Maybe you want to sit in a square. Maybe you want to browse a shop with no buying agenda. Maybe you are remarkably invested in lunch. Put that version of you in the brief too. Free time is not a failure of imagination.

The Jess version.

Share the city, your dates, your taste, and the things you refuse to rush. We can shape the itinerary, research the details, and coordinate the agreed bookings. You can be informed without becoming the tour manager. We support this character development.
